It seems that my wish list for Taylor Swift red carpet appearance was all wrong. Despite sparkling sequined or beaded gown for the red carpet, Taylor Swift surprise us with a different look from her former red carpet attire. Dressed in white J. Mendel pantsuit, Taylor Swift stunned at the 2012 VMA red carpet.
There was a time when you could easily predict Taylor’s look, but it appears she has kicked her embellishment fetish for good wearing a J. Mendel silk crepe suit. Her ivory suit featured a tuxedo jacket with pin-tucked pants and a white ruffled v-neck top. Taylor slick monochromatic, menswear-inspired look was styled with metallic gold Tom Ford sandals and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. This rich red lip colour works for me on this occasion, as do her sleek straight locks and kohl-rimmed eyes. Taylor’s look for 2012 VMAs is flawless!
Later, Taylor Swift wore stripes for her performance at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards held at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The 22-year-old singer performed her hit new single ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ and even stage dived at the end of the song! Taylor‘s song was just bumped off the top off the top of the Billboard Hot 100 by Flo Rida‘s ‘Whistle’.
